    In-Person Holiday Workshop:

Help Your Client Create New Year’s Resolutions

    They Can Keep

By Teaching Them How to Discover Their Personal Core Value and
Create Their Personal Vision and Mission Statements

      with Lindsey Rae Ackerman, LMFT

    Course Summary

Supporting your clients in defining their core values is an invaluable tool to bring more clarity, ease, and direction in their decision making. Core value work can bring greater self-awareness and self-compassion to what unconsciously drives behavior. Once clients have a deeper understanding of their core values you can utilize the information to help them create a vision and mission statement, which can then be utilized to create more meaning in the actions of their daily life. When a client can connect their daily to-do list back to their larger goals there is often a reduction of stress and an elevation in mood and motivation. Conducting this work throughout the treatment can promote significant and meaningful progress.

    Learning Objectives

Identify 3 signs that indicate value, vision, and mission work would be helpful to your client

List 3 interventions to utilize when clients become stuck in their value work

Identify 3 therapeutic benefits value, vision, and mission work can create for your client
